From Gordon College to the North Shore's #1 Property Manager

Rachel and Alex first came to the North Shore in the fall of 2011 as students at Gordon College. They didn't plan on staying forever — but the North Shore has a way of doing that to people. The rocky coastline, the tight-knit towns, the pace of life. After graduation, they didn't leave. They planted roots instead.

"We weren't looking to start a company. We were just trying to do right by our community and the property owners in it."

In 2019, Rachel and Alex purchased their first investment property in Gloucester and discovered their passion for real estate. They kept going — expanding their knowledge, their portfolio, and their understanding of the North Shore market town by town.

Arrived on the North Shore for Gordon College. Two students who couldn't bring themselves to leave.

First investment property in Gloucester. The real estate bug bites hard.
2021
Rachel joins an STR mastermind and begins managing a Salem Airbnb. The Halloween season results are eye-opening.

Oh — and there's Lucy.

Rachel, Alex, their three kids — Noah, Drew, and Ella — and their dog Lucy call Annisquam home, a tucked-away coastal neighborhood in Gloucester where the harbor meets the sea. When we say we're a North Shore family business, we mean it in every sense. Lucy has never managed a property, but she's an excellent judge of character.

The Ipswich Inn

In December 2024, Rachel and Alex acquired The Ipswich Inn — a boutique 10-bedroom Victorian inn on the North Shore. Running a full inn alongside a managed portfolio isn't something most property management companies can say. It means the hospitality standards we promise our homeowners are the same ones we hold ourselves to, every day, in a property we own.
